Systems Requirements

Comlogik recommends that healthcare service providers operate our practice management systems on computers equipped with the following minimum specifications. While our software will operate on systems comprised of equipment below these requirements, we cannot guarantee optimum performance. A breakdown of the minimum system requirements can be found at the bottom of the page. A networking engineer may be necessary to design, analyze and configure your network.

Business Workstation Processors: P4 processor with 1MB cache
Operating System: Windows 2000 professional SP4, Windows XP Professional SP2
RAM: 256MB - 512 MB (for Windows 2000 & XP)
Hard Drives: 40GB 7200 RPM
Sound: Minimum Sound Card
Network Card: Intel 10/100/1000, 100MB Fast Ethernet preferred
Monitor: 15 inch - 800 x 600 Minimum Resolution

Dedicated Server Processors: Intel Xeon QC x3320 2.5Ghz/1333Mhz system for more than 15 users
Operating System: Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2008 Standard Server
RAM: 1GB DDR for up to 5 users; 2GB DDR for up 10 users; 4 GB DDR over 10 users
Hard Drives: 73 GB SCSI LVD 160MBPS 10K RPM or 15K RPM Drives (Raid 1 and 5)
Modem: 56k modem
Sound: No Sound Card Necessary
Network Card: 1GB Fast Ethernet Preferred
Switch: 100 MBPS 8 Port (5 Users), 16-24 Port Managed Switch with 1 GB Uplinks (10-25 Users)

Notes
Operating Systems: It is not recommended that companies use operating systems older than Windows© XP Professional.

SQL Server: Comlogik requires that Microsoft© SQL© 2008/2012 Standard Edition be used.

Network: Networks should be equipped with UPS, data back-up capabilities, switch, 100-1000mbps throughout, including network cards. TCP/IP protocols. Cat. 5e network cable.

Hubs: 10/100/1000 Switch hubs are recommended.

Printers: Comlogik recommends the use of laser jet printers with our software. Additionally, Epsons LX-300+dot matrix printers is also recommended and will conform to our preset reporting templates. Comlogik does not recommend ink jet or bubble jet printers. For more information about specific printers, please ask a Comlogik representative.

Remote Communications: Teamviewer Software, ShowMyPC or LogMeIn is required for online training and online support from Comlogik. Your computer must also have a modem.
